The Providence Group, the homebuilding entity of Jolly Development, ended 2007 on a high note. The company, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2007, also closed its 1,000th home on Dec. 19 at Woodbridge Crossing in Smyrna. David and Patty Emerson were the lucky home buyers at the new upscale community of single-family courtyard and garden homes located at the intersection of the East West Connector and Cooper Lake Road. Woodbridge Crossing features three- and four-bedroom detached homes priced from the high $300’s to $500’s.

“We are incredibly pleased with the success we had throughout 2007,” said Ginny Bryant, Director of Marketing for The Providence Group. “The Providence Group continues to defy the trends of today’s builders; we were honored to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and close our 1,000th home in the same year. The Providence Group’s ability to build consistently successful “leading-edge” designs in great locations is the result of careful planning, and a clear sense of vision that surpasses conventional building practices. You can expect exceptional finish levels in every Providence Group home. We hope the Emersons will enjoy living in Woodbridge Crossing nestled quietly in the Concord Covered Bridge Historic Area of Smyrna with the Silver Comet Trail within walking distance.”

The Emersons previously lived in Marietta, Georgia before deciding to upgrade to their Cheshire home at Woodbridge Crossing. The Cheshire is a two-story, three-bedroom, three-bath home with a two-car garage. The home features a study on the main level which could be used as a fourth bedroom, and also offers a spacious kitchen with center island that overlooks the large family room and breakfast area.

“We really like that all of the living space was well utilized. There are several closets throughout the home providing plenty of storage space. The pantry and master bedroom closet are especially impressive,” David Emerson said. “My wife really loves the layout of the kitchen and the fact that it opens to the family room. She also appreciates the elegant stone backsplash and ample cabinet space. The Providence Group builds beautiful homes with incredible attention to quality and detail.”

The Emersons were also very pleased with the people they dealt with at The Providence Group. The couple struggled to sell their existing home in Marietta, but with the help of The Providence Group they were able to sell their home thru The Providence Group’s Friends of the Family program. Jan Stumpf with Jolly Realty helped to aggressively market and sell their existing home so that they could purchase their dream home in Woodbridge Crossing.
