Tivoli Properties, Inc. announced that Jeff Gevertz has been promoted from Vice President of Finance to Chief Financial Officer. Developing and leading Tivoli's financial strategy, Gevertz brings a zeal for the real estate industry and the right mix of professional experiences to the company.

Prior to joining Tivoli in 2006, Gevertz served as finance and asset manager at Portman Holdings, LLC, in Atlanta, Ga., and oversaw project feasibility analysis, underwriting and financial structuring for all new real estate development endeavors. Additionally, Gevertz was hospitality analyst and asset manger at Atlanta-based Apollo Real Estate Investments, formerly Lend Lease Real Estate Investments. Gevertz began his financial management career at Marriott International in Atlanta, Ga., as the interim controller.
Jeff earned a B.A. degree in finance from Florida State University and has been certified in hospitality managerial accounting and finance by the Cornell School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration.
