A Heartfelt Kudos to Creekside Animal Hospital

Often times we only hear the negatives experience – bad sales experience, unhappy customer service, etc. However, I am hear to tell you today of a very, very different story.

Recently my husband and I had to make a very difficult decision. We are animal owners (standard poodles) and one of our animals, “Ruby” has been going downhill with medical issues. We had always said that when her quality life was not there anymore, it would be time to have her put down.

Last Saturday that happened, and we took her to Creekside Animal Hospital – Dr. Samuel Adams is our veterinarian. This was a very traumatic situation for us, and we wanted our vet’s assurance that we were making the right decision. Dr. Adams took all the time we needed and sat us down and explained previous situations with other animals owners, exactly how the process would work, even offering for us to be there during the process. Not only did he spend time with us in making a definite decision, but there was no time constraint. We sat in his office after hours and just talked until we felt totally comfortable.

When we got ready to leave the veterinarian office and waited for our bill, we found that there was none. Dr. Adams did not charge us nor would he let us give his office something for his time and services. Now, we all know time is money. And, this service is certainly not free for him. In fact, he has a contract with a service that picks up the animals to be cremated and buried.

The following day I received a card in the mail from Dr. Adams -- a handwritten personal note giving his condolences for our loss of Ruby. Again, who takes the time to write a handwritten note in this day and age?

All said, my hat's off to Dr. Samuel Adams of Creekside Animal Hospital, his wife Debbie and their staff. If you are looking for a veterinarian that will treat you animals with love and respect as we do, you need Dr. Adams. My hat’s off to their entire staff for being a caring group of people.
