According to a recent study conducted by The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University, the more often kids eat dinner with their parents, the less likely they are to smoke, drink or use illegal drugs. Entree Vous is joining forces with The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University to celebrate the seventh annual Family Day – A Day to Eat Dinner with Your ChildrenTM
Entrée Vous, an upscale meal assembly kitchen is celebrating Family Day – A Day to Eat Dinner with Your ChildrenTM on September 24, 2007 by offering families a fun way to enjoy having dinner together. Thursday and Saturday evening throughout the month of September, families can schedule a family dinner date at the East Cobb Entrée Vous located at 2520 East Piedmont Road in Marietta. Together, they’ll not only enjoy a wholesome meal together, but also prepare other delicious entrees together, which they can take home and enjoy later all for only $35.
Launched by CASA in 2001, Family Day is a national movement that encourages parents to frequently eat dinner with their kids and be involved in their children’s lives. Family Day helps remind busy families of the invaluable role that parental involvement plays in steering children and teens away from cigarettes, drugs and alcohol.
“We’re not just encouraging families to eat dinner together for one day, we’re hoping they’ll adopt this lifestyle,” says Entrée Vous owner Michelle Antolovich. “As a working mother, I know first-hand how hard it can be to gather the family around the dinner table with their busy schedules. But it’s important that we take that valuable time to simply catch up on what’s going on in our kids’ lives, and what better way to do it than to start by making dinner together.”
Families can make their reservations by calling (770) 565-4670, and this month’s menu of entrees can be found at www.entreevous.com. For more information on Family Day, visit www.casafamilyday.org.
