In 2003 a Chef met a Butcher, one from Switzerland and one from Germany, through the German/American Society in Atlanta. Enrico Gamma and Richard Sieber have over 60 years combined experience in their fields. Enrico Gamma has lived in Atlanta for over 15 years and has been a successful entrepreneur with a reputation for having extremely high standards and always putting the customer first.

The two men quickly recognized a mutual passion and appreciation for premium quality meats and foods. After years of research and product testing, the idea of the Wienerz Butcher Shop and Deli was born. Enrico and Richard discovered a real hunger for a traditional European style shop where the finest ingredients are combined utilizing true craftsmanship to provide high quality meats, sandwiches, and specialty foods at very affordable prices. Wienerz specializes in fresh hand cut meats and hard wood smoked sausages, hams, ribs, and deli meats.
