For the second consecutive year, The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) recognized Cobb County-based Georgia Lung Associates with a Certificate of Superior Performance in their 2007 national survey evaluating the Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups. Georgia Lung (www.georgialung.com) is the largest pulmonary practice in the state.

Practices were evaluated in four performance management categories for the award: patient satisfaction, cost management; productivity, capacity, staffing; accounts receivable and collections.
