Santa Claus kicked off the holiday season in Marietta November 29 as he arrived in an antique Marietta fire truck, greeted children and lit the Christmas tree in Glover Park. Local childrens' choruses performed holiday music and children met Santa and told him their wish lists.

Santa will be on the Marietta Square to meet with children during the holidays.  The dates are December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 20-24th.  And the times: Saturdays: 10am -6pm, Sundays: 11am - 5pm, December 20 & 21: 11am - 6pm, and December 24th: 10am - 3pm.  The line closes one hour before Santa is scheduled to leave. Experience the season in Olde Merry-etta and visit with St. Nick in his brightly decorated workshop. Photos with Santa are available.
