Atlanta, GA (January 4, 2008) -- Hometown Times, Inc. (www.HometownTimes.com) and Comcast Corporation announce an exclusive licensing arrangement, in the Atlanta DMA, to provide local and fresh television programming. The new arrangement delivers an initial pilot of six local community shows, titled CummingHome, to begin airing in February 2008. CummingHome, a subsidiary of Hometown Times, will feature local news, political and community content, and personalities, all of which constitute the basis of the Hometown Times online news publications that have been serving the Atlanta Market since 2003.

"Comcast is excited about this opportunity to provide quality local programming to the Forsyth and Cumming areas.  We look forward to highlighting all the news and events happening right within our community," affirms Brad Ross, Comcast Director of Sales for the Atlanta DMA.

HometownTimes and Comcast forged this new business relationship for one reason: To deliver quality, county-based content via multiple channels to local consumers and business partners who focus on communicating, selling and servicing their community.

“Conveying targeted household news and information by county allows HometownTimes to deliver its offerings via television and via web, which is of tremendous value to our business partners, our readers and our community,” says Scott Keller, interim CEO of Hometown Times.  “We believe our approach to developing meaningful and consistent county-based content, while serving as a platform for local political, business, community, non-profit and educational leaders is special and unique. The opportunity to provide this offering via television and via the web allows us to truly blanket the local public, delivering value and a unique experience to each county served,” he continues.

All are invited to tune in for the first of six television pilots of Comcast’s first property, CummingHome, on February 15, 2008 on Comcast channel 25, Tuesday through Friday, 6:30-7:30 PM EST, and on Saturday and Sunday, 5:00-6:00 PM EST.  CummingHome will initially air in Forsyth and Cherokee counties.  CummingHome and all Hometown Times television programs will also be offered via Comcast OnDemand.
