Lt. Governor Casey Cagle released the following statement on July 16 regarding the June revenue figures:

"While many states across the nation have experienced a decline in revenue that reflects the current economy, the good news is we have made fiscally-sound decisions and can move forward with sustainable reserves. It is vital that we manage our state in a manner that maximizes cost-saving measures and is even more efficient in the delivery of services. Now is the time to drive down costs and focus our efforts to do more with less. I’m confident our state will continue to lead the way with a strong economy and job growth,” said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.
