New York Times best-selling author, Susan Vreeland will discuss by phone her fiction, ‘Luncheon of the Boating Party,’ during a book club meeting at the Central Cobb County Public Library, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m.
Vreeland, known for her art-related historical fictions, characterizes the life of French-Impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir in her book.
On her Web page Vreeland wrote that she loves to take part in book discussions. Vreeland added, “I'll be sure to tell you some good stories about things that happened during the writing of this book.”
Several ‘Luncheon of the Boating Party’ novels are reserved at the Central CCPL for participants of the book club meeting. People interested in joining the meeting about Vreeland’s book, can ask staff members at the circulation desk for books reserved in the ‘Book Club in-a-box’ collection.
