Latest City Newsletter Headed to Mailboxes

Published Jun 28, 2008

Residents and businesses inside the city limits of Marietta will soon receive the new edition of Blueprint Marietta in their mailboxes. It is also available for download from the city's Web site.

This edition includes articles about the city being honored for Franklin Road improvements, Marietta High School being named one of the best high schools in the nation, funding to improve Marietta's park system, Marietta being awarded by local television stations for efforts to go green, and various redevelopment projects around Marietta.

"We have a lot to feel good about in this community," city manager Bill Bruton said. "We think this publication will be something people want to read because it tells the story of how the city is changing and how it all relates to a master vision the community helped create."
