Marietta Announces $2.2 million for Repaving

Marietta Mayor Bill Dunaway announced during his State of the City speech July 16 that Marietta is scheduled to repave 13 miles of city streets worth over $2.2 million later this year.

More contracts will be signed including the Roswell Renaissance area, when all utility work is finished, Marietta Public Works Director Dan Conn said. "Private consultants evaluate the condition of the city's streets on a regular basis then select the roads to be repaved."

  • Kirkpatrick Drive
  • Woodvalley Drive
  • Chestnut Hill Road
  • Campbell Hill Street
  • Lees Trace
  • Camp Street
  • Maple Avenue
  • Ridge Avenue
  • Brown Avenue
  • Woods Drive
  • West Dixie Avenue
  • Latimer Street
  • Riverside Drive
  • Marian Street
  • Parkview Drive
  • Merritt Road
  • Stewart Avenue
  • Seminole Drive
  • Canton Road
  • Cogburn Avenue
  • Idlewyld Drive
  • Pauline Drive
  • Fairground Street near South Cobb Drive
