The Marietta Pilgrimage Home Tour has been bestowed with another honor. The Southeast Tourism Society has named the Marietta Pilgrimage Christmas Home Tour a Top Twenty Event in the Southeast. This is the twelfth time the tour has received the honor, putting it in the same category as Christmas at Biltmore and Fantasy in Lights at Callaway.

The latest award joins previous honors such as the American Bus Association's "Top 100 Events in North America" and the "Dan Biggers Special Event Award" given by the Georgia Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus. These awards demonstrate that the honor has become one of the premier events in Georgia and the Southeast.

The 2008 edition of the Marietta Pilgrimage Christmas Home Tour will be held December 6-8 and will feature historic homes in the Whitlock Avenue Historic District. Tour houses will be announced in July.
