Gundersen, Director of Marketing, on achieving the National Association of Home Builder’s prestigious MIRM designation (Member, Institute of Residential Marketing). Gundersen will be recognized in a ceremony at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla., in February.

Gundersen has served in her current position for four years. Previously, she worked as a Senior Art Director then as Studio Manager for an Atlanta graphic design studio, where she started a Web site design division. Since she joined Monte Hewett Homes, her work has won numerous awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, including Gold awards for billboard design, overall marketing campaign, best Web site and best off-site signage. Gundersen received the GHA’s Silver Award for Marketing Director of the Year in 2005. To achieve the MIRM designation, she completed a series of NAHB sponsored marketing courses, demonstrated experience and success in home marketing, and completed a practicum. Gundersen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. She resides with her family in a beautiful Monte Hewett home in Smyrna.
