Gentlemen,
I read Commissioner Ledbetter's recent article in the Forsyth County News on her proposal to save large trees in Forsyth County.
Tree Preservation Committee, from my understanding, addresses questions regarding the interpretation of the tree ordinance. Starting up another committee makes no sense and just adds another layer of bureaucracy to the mix. If the existing ordinance is ineffective, there are two ways to handle such an issue. Correct it so that it is effective, or eliminate it and write one that has clear understanding of the rules and has teeth behind it.
The best way to save trees is not to allow such useless articles to be printed. Save Paper-Save a Tree!
