Many dignitaries gathered recently for a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Cobb's newest park - the Mud Creek Soccer Complex. The complex was built on 26 acres of land located at 5600 Ernest Barrett Parkway between Macland Road and Powder Springs Road. The complex has three full-size and two half-size soccer fields, a concession and restroom building with an open breezeway, a playground and a half-mile concrete walking track.
