Ground Breaking Event at Kennesaw Mountain High School this Sunday

WHAT: Ground breaking Ceremony for a $150K project to construct a large seating area at the lower track at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Supplies and labor for the construction project have been donated to the school.

WHEN: Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 4 p.m.

WHERE: Kennesaw Mountain High School, 1898 Kennesaw Due West Road, Kennesaw, GA 30152

WHO: Sponsored by the Kennesaw Youth Football Association. In attendance will be KMHS students, administrators and faculty; Kennesaw Mayor and City Council members; Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department, KMHS Booster Club, B&M Masonry, local sponsors and key players in the project.

WHY: This project will greatly improve the area where hundreds of youth and adults take part in programs and high school sporting events. The project will not only enhance the athletic viewing area, it is also vital to the safety of those who are currently involved in sports activities in the area. The school and the community take great pride in this accomplishment.
